JELL-O Facts

Did you know Jell-O has been around since 1987? Everyone knows of its many uses in the kitchen. However, most don't know of its use in silent film. Cecil B. DeMille's 1923 silent film The Ten Commandments. Jell-O was used to create the special effect of Moses parting the Red Sea!

BLUEBERRY DUMP CAKE

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 cup yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 4Tbs. blueberry preserves
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, cut into slivers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2 (8 oz.) ramekins (about 3 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" deep) with cooking spray. Line baking sheet with 1" sides with foil. Spoon half of blueberries into each ramekin. Top each with 2 Tbs. preserves. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cake mix evenly over blueberries in each ramekin. Drizzle 2 Tbs. half and half over cake mix in each ramekin. Distribute butter slices evenly over top of each ramekin. Place on baking sheet. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until blueberry cakes are set and golden. Makes 2 servings. ENJOY!!!!
